  • Absolutely. Our bartenders hold up-to-date Food Handler and BASSET certifications with the state of Illinois. Spirit & Glass also carries both liquor liability and general liability insurance to ensure your event is covered with care.

  • Yes, we do! Travel fees vary based on your location. All fees will be clearly outlined in your contract. Please note: Clients are responsible for securing any required venue or city permits.

  • We recommend reaching out as soon as you’ve selected your event date. Before booking, please confirm with your venue that outside vendors are permitted. Our peak seasons are summer, holidays, and wedding months (May through September) and they tend to book quickly. Early inquiries are encouraged.

  • Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 10 days prior to your event.

  • While deposits are non-refundable and will be forfeited in the event of cancellation, we understand that plans can shift. If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to accommodate your new date based on availability. Your original deposit will be applied to the rescheduled event, and a rescheduling fee will apply.

  • Spirit & Glass is a dry-hire mobile bar company, meaning we are not licensed to supply alcohol. Instead, we provide a customized, shopping list based on your guest count and menu selections to help you source everything with ease.

  • No, we do not offer cash bars. Illinois state law prohibits mobile bar services from selling alcohol directly. All alcohol must be provided by the client, and no money may be exchanged for drinks during the event.

  • To ensure your bar is fully stocked, we require an accurate guest count and notice of any changes at least 10 days prior to your event. This allows us to update your shopping list and help you prepare the right quantities. Please note: Due to liability, we are unable to restock alcohol on your behalf during service.

  • We do our best to accommodate last-minute timeline changes. Hour extensions are handled on a case-by-case basis and depend on staff availability. If approved, additional service time will be billed at an incremental hourly rate, as outline in your contract.

  • Yes. To ensure we deliver a seamless and high-quality experience, we require:

    • A 4-hour minimum and 30 guest minimum for full bar service.

    • A 3-hour minimum with 1 bartender per 30 guests for bartender-only service.

    • A 6 guest minimum for private mixology classes.
